    Pulcallpa

Pack up and move on over to Pulcallpa to catch a boat to Iquitos, “The Gateway to the Amazon”.

    Iquitos

Spend as long as possible in Iquitos / the surrounding jungle. This is where we’re most likely to go “off radar” for undetermined amounts of time, simply because there’ll be no WiFi in the deep jungle! We’ll of course provide updates as and when possible – but please do not fret if you don’t here from me, even if for a few weeks. I’ll just be having the adventure of a lifetime, with my head screwed on, gathering the kind of experiences that will make Ash of Jequitiba the greatest story of this generation.

    Chachapoyas

Bus to Chachapoyas and explore Incan ruins for an undetermined amount of time.

    Gringo Trail / Ecuador

Adventure our way over to the West Coast to join the ‘Gringo Trail’, then improvise our way North through Ecuador (stopping here and there for adventures. Locations TBC) en route to El Dorado Airport, Bogota Airport.

    Columbia / Bogota

Get to Bogota Airport, Columbia and do one to New Zealand, hopefully via San Francisco! From this point on, we’ll be (somewhat) back in the ‘real world’ and available via all normal means again

Please do not contact anyone whose details I have provided unless you haven’t heard from me or Ash for up to 3 weeks.

Not on a whim, ‘innocently enough’ or anything in between – thanks! This is me being an independent adventurer and doing so does majorly damage my street cred, yo! I need to be free of such a worry at 28, haha.

This whole adventure may/will be regularly populated with “off-radar” time where we simply won’t have access to WiFi and/or will be too busy “living natural” and away from technology. Please don’t fret if you don’t hear from us for up to 2/3 weeks – we’ll just be busy having the adventure of a lifetime amongst the old ecosystem in the world.

We’ll no doubt deviate from this plan from time to time too, but I hope the above suffices to give you a really good idea of the planned route. We’ve both had many friends to very similar trips solo and come out with nothing but incredible stories of wildlife encounters, friendly locals and incredible culture.

We’ll be gathering some amazing stories and then some!

All my love,

Tommo
