Return to Cornwall and yup it still packs a punch!
Astounded by the brilliant hospitality of Kev (Kiev) and Julia (Tom’s parents) on a week long holiday in rainy Cornwall, England. The final frontier of relaxation before we DO ONE. We laughed in the rain’s face as we cycled and danced and ate our way around Polgooth and the surrounding areas… maybe the fabulous Polgooth Inn more than anywhere else but that’s OK!
Cycling, port towns, bird watching, thunder amplified, walks, talks, sound effects, trivia, THAT pub quiz, fluffy doggos, bird song, bats, almost burgers, shandies, photos, Heligan and so much more, all wrapped in a warm happy wholesome package.
I don’t think I’ve ever eaten so much in my life and Tommo may never look at beer again, but our souls feel hugged. So THANK YOU to Kev and Jules for spoiling us with such an amazing week. <3

Ash & Tom, what stunning photo’s and comments – wonderful reminders of a wonderful week spent in your company. We didn’t let the weather get in our way – PMA – and made the most of it when the sun shone. When it didn’t, there was always the Polgooth Inn! (best pub ….?). Had some great discussions in there most evenings (can’t remember what we talked about when we got ‘rained in’ there for the whole of Sunday though!)
So glad you enjoyed it as much as us.
